Terms and Conditions
Rugby is a sport involving inherent risk of
injury. Your child’s participation in the Rugby Camp
may result in physical injury. Although the Rucksnmauls will
take reasonable steps to avoid serious injuries being suffered
by participants, the participants voluntarily assume the risk
of injury. By signing below, you confirm that you are the
parent or guardian of the child/children listed above and
have custody and control of him/her/them and you confirm that:
1) you have read and accept the Booking Conditions.
2) you irrevocably consent to:
• your child’s participation at the Rugby Camp;
• your child being photographed/filmed whilst at the
Rugby Camps, and that such photographs or films
can be used in future promotional material produced by Rucksnmauls;
• any data relating to your child collected by Rucksnmauls
in connection with the Rugby Camps being used for the purposes
of the Rugby Camp and their promotion by Rucksnmauls.
3) you consent to trained medical professionals
caring for your child in the case of an accident.
4) your details, and those of your children,
being used for future data driven marketing by the Rucksnmauls
5) you accept that there is an inherent
risk of injury involved in the sport.
Booking Conditions
1) Payment constitutes your acceptance of the
booking conditions.
2) The Rugby Camps are run on a first come first
served basis and are subject to availability. If your Booking
Form cannot be accepted, we shall endeavour to offer an alternative
Rugby Camp. If this is not acceptable to you or if there is
no alternative Rugby Camp, your payment will be refunded promptly.
Bookings are unlikely to be accepted less than two weeks prior
to the Rugby Camp start date.
3) Following receipt of the Rucksnmauls Rugby
Camps’ Booking Form and your payment, we will send you
a confirmation email.
4) If you need to cancel your booking, you must
inform us immediately. All cancellations will be acknowledged
by us and are subject to the following cancellation charges:
- Prior to 1st June - full refund less £12
admin fee
- Between 1st June and 30th June - 50% refund
less £12 admin fee
- On, or after 1st July - no refund
5) We reserve the right to increase the price
of the Rugby Camp in the event of circumstances arising that
are beyond our control.
6) In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary
for us to cancel Rugby Camp arrangements. You will then be
given the option of either transferring to another Rugby Camp
(subject to availability), or receiving a full refund.
7) No person involved with the organisation
of the Rucksnmauls Rugby Camps accepts liability for the personal
injury or death of any participant unless caused by its negligence.
No person involved with the organisation of the Rucksnmauls
Rugby Camps will be responsible for any losses or additional
expenses incurred by any participant or their parents or guardians
due to injury or sickness whilst at a Rugby Camp, weather,
strikes, war or any other cause beyond their control.
8) Full payment must be received 30 days before
the camp start date.
9) RucksnMauls will not tolerate unruly behaviour
from any attendee. Unruly behaviour includes but is not limited
to, fighting, bullying, offensive language or any behaviour
which is detrimental to the quality and enjoyment of the camp
for other attendees, or RucksnMauls coaches.
10) Where club coaches/parents/relatives attend
the camp in a spectator capacity they agree to behave according
to the RFU Code of Conduct and will not act in an intimidating/offensive
manner toward any attendee of the camp, other spectators or
RucksnMauls coaches.
RucksnMauls Child Protection
RucksnMauls is committed to child protection
and we aim to providing participants with quality rugby camps
in a safe and enjoyable environment, provided by quality and
experienced Southern hemisphere coaches. All of our coaches
are screened in their home country and are CRB checked before
coming to the UK.
On arrival they complete a comprehensive induction
and child protection workshop before coming to your club to
share their wealth of knowledge, skills and genuine love for
the game of rugby.
We are committed to child
protection and best practice by:
- RucksnMauls coaches being screened in their
home country and CRB checked in coutry of origin.
- Our rugby coaches are face to face interviewed
and background checked
- Many of our coaches have either coached or
played at a National level and/ or have at least level 2
rugby union coaching or equivalent
- Coaches attend a UK child protection workshop
and RucksnMauls induction, when they arrive
- Our commitment to the participants, ensuring
best practice, providing experienced coaches in a safe and
fun environment for all ages and abilities
- Daily registration/ attendance of all participants
- Following best practice set out by the RFU
to ensure that young people who choose to participate in
our rugby camps experience fun and success.
